Description
Radiators are heat exchangers used in cars, largely for cooling system internal combustion engines but in addition in piston-engined aircraft, railway locomotives, bikes, generating plant that is fixed or some similar use of this kind of engine.
Internal combustion engines returned to the engine, and in many cases are cooled by circulating a liquid called engine coolant through the engine block, where it’s warmed through a radiator where it loses heat to the atmosphere. Engine coolant is generally water-based, but might even be oil. It’s normal to apply a water pump to drive the engine coolant to push air through the radiator, and additionally for an axial fan to circulate.
